Jo Black our salon owner! From Essex, hairdressing for 33 years! A specialist in wedding hair, Jo is NVQ level 1,2,3 qualified and an assessor. Living on the Costa Blanca for 14 years, expanding her successful Kru business to join up with Mimi’s.

Emma King

Emma King, our senior stylist. Level 1, 2, 3 NVQ qualified. Great all rounder in hairdressing. Emma is from The Wirral owning her own salon in England and was Andrew Collinge trained.

Lina Buigues

Lina Buigues is our full time Spanish senior stylist trained here in Denia, hairdressing for 30 years, a great all-rounder and she offers the best head massage! Happy to help clients practice their Spanish.

Svetlana Rusanova

Svetlana Rusanova, Our eyelash extensions expert! She specialises in Russian lashes. Svetlana trained in Russia and has 5 years experience in her industry! She has lived in Javea with her family for 17 years and worked at Mimi for 4 years!

Trudi Hunter- Nail Technician

Trudi, salon administrator, senior nail technician. Trudi is Jo Blacks right hand man, she is a pleasure to spend time with and takes her clients onto another level of friendship and comfort during her nail services. Listening and advising and sharing her own experiences. Your time with Trudi is like a coffee morning with a friend, yet you get to leave with a great set of nails as an added bonus.

I’m originally from Hamburg and for over 14 years, I worked as a trainer at a tennis and hockey club, where I offered a variety of classes for members. My focus was on functional fitness, including back training, muscle building, senior gymnastics, and Pilates. I also provide Shiatsu massages and personalized nutritional coaching.
For 5 years, I worked as a personal trainer for Jette Joop, during which time I was also responsible for cooking healthy meals for her team.
Since 2022, I’ve been living my dream in Jávea, fully enjoying life on the Spanish coast. Since March, I’ve been happily working with Mimiskru as a Shiatsu therapist.
One of my personal highlights is the early morning beach workout with my clients at Arenal. The peaceful atmosphere and morning energy are simply magical, a true gift for body and soul.
I also offer one-on-one nutritional coaching tailored to your individual needs.
